Avid Technology, a developer of tools used both in top-tier award-winning productions and in private home music and video creation, is sponsoring the animago AWARD 2009 in the category “Best Post-production.”
“The animago AWARD is the most important award in the industry across German-speaking markets, with growing international impact. It serves as a benchmark within the industry, and—perhaps most importantly—for creative professionals, especially newcomers, as a goal post and a source of motivation,” said Michael Dalock-Schmidt, Marketing Manager at Avid Central Europe. “Avid supports digital content creators throughout each stage of their career as much as possible.”
In the Best Post-production category, DIGITAL PRODUCTION recognizes the entry that stands out most strongly in the DCC industry.
From over 1,000 submissions from 44 countries, a professional jury nominates the best work in 11 categories, with some winners determined together with an industry audience. Winners of the 29 October ceremony will be announced at the fx.Center in the media city of Babelsberg. This year, animago AWARD is supported for the first time by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
“Avid has once again publicly aligned itself with one of the biggest names in the industry,” says Matthias J. Lange, animago project lead. “We are very proud of this—this shows that with the animago AWARD and the CONFERENCE, we are setting new standards.”
