Autodesk is continuing its online-seminar series. In September, customers and interested parties can learn about various new functions and additional applications for CAD design with Autodesk Inventor. Three different seminars introduce general new features in Autodesk Inventor 2010, explain the iLogic configuration and variant module, and address working with large assemblies. Participants benefit from useful tips and receive materials that help them work even more productively. Each seminar lasts around 45 minutes and can be followed from the workplace.
“Our online seminars give customers and interested parties the opportunity to learn quickly and conveniently about new features and important additional functions,” explains Wolfgang Lynen, EMEA Campaign Manager at Autodesk. “This keeps them up to date and makes it easier to take important decisions about future investments.”
Seminars at a Glance
New Features in Autodesk Inventor 2010:
Autodesk Inventor 2010 includes many functions that allow designers to work even more quickly and reliably. Compared with Inventor version 11, productivity increases of up to 30 percent can be achieved. Motion simulations and FEM analyses can also be performed. The seminar provides an overview of Autodesk Inventor 2010 and its most important new features. Interested parties can attend the seminars at 10.00 on September 16, 23 and 30.
Large Assemblies:
Many designers work with large assemblies. For this purpose, Autodesk has built useful features into the current version of Inventor that make designing and managing large assemblies easier. For example, the new Shrinkwrap function can convert assemblies rapidly into a simplified solid or surface model that can be used as a compact substitute representation. This ensures that intellectual property is protected when working with third parties. In addition, iCopy and improved level-of-detail representation lead to substantial performance increases. The seminars take place at 10.00 on September 17 and 24 and October 1.
Simple and Fast Variant Configuration:
The seminar demonstrates iLogic’s potential. iLogic makes it possible to automate the design of variants and configurations without extensive programming knowledge. Simple rules allow iLogic to create numerous design variants. The seminar illustrates the solution’s functions and benefits and provides valuable operating tips. Seminars on this subject take place at 10.00 on September 15, 22 and 29. The add-on module is available free of charge to Autodesk Inventor 2010 Subscription customers.
