Autodesk will once again appear at the 16th EuroMold, the trade fair for tool and mould making, design and product development, in Frankfurt from December 2 to 5, 2009. In Hall 11.0, Stand B92, the provider of 2D and 3D design software will present a comprehensive range of solutions for digital product development (digital prototyping) together with various specialist dealers. The focus will be on Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Inventor Tooling, Autodesk Alias and Autodesk Showcase. Another focal point will be the Autodesk Moldflow solution packages, which enable the simulation of injection-moulding processes.
“EuroMold offers us an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our digital prototyping strategy as a whole. From design through engineering, simulation and visualisation to manufacturing, we offer solutions that enable designers to work faster and make fewer errors,” says Wolfgang Lynen, EMEA Marketing Campaign Manager Manufacturing Solutions at Autodesk. “We address companies in every sector—from mechanical engineering and the automotive industry to tool and mould making and the plastics-processing industry.”
At the centre of the digital prototyping strategy is the Autodesk Inventor 3D design solution. With the aid of the software, designers can create a digital model into which all data flows. Simulations can be carried out on this model under realistic conditions, eliminating the need for physical prototypes. This is supplemented by solutions for design, visualisation, data management, and tool and mould making.
Autodesk will exhibit at EuroMold 2009 with the following partners: Buckel & Partner GmbH, CADKON Systems GmbH, CIDEON Systemhaus GmbH, Kailer & Sommer GmbH, MCG GmbH, MF SOFTWARE Sales & Service GmbH, Mensch und Maschine Akademie und Systemhaus GmbH, MTC Antos and product innovation lounge.
