Users can choose between the Certified Associate and Certified Professional certification levels. Preparation, training and examination materials are currently available in German for AutoCAD 2010, Autodesk Inventor 2010 and Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010. Materials for additional solutions are planned and are already partly available in English. Certifications are prepared and conducted in cooperation with authorised Autodesk Training Centers. Further information is available at http://www.autodesk.de/zertifizierung.
The certification programme enables users to test their skills and use the certificate to gain professional advantages within a company and on the labour market. Employers also benefit from certifying their employees. They receive a reliable assessment of their employees’ knowledge and abilities and increase productivity because the software solutions are used more effectively. Employees are also motivated and developed professionally.
“In a difficult economic situation, it is important for users and companies to distinguish themselves from the competition, whether in the contest for jobs or for projects,” says Roland Zelles, Vice President Central Europe at Autodesk. “Certificates allow users to demonstrate their expertise and the quality of their work and communicate it effectively to the outside world. Every Autodesk certification represents the experience and qualifications of professional engineers, planners and designers around the world.”
Ahead of the certification examinations, users are prepared through examination guides, online tests and courses at authorised Autodesk Training Centers (ATC). The final examination takes place at Autodesk Authorized Certification Centers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Depending on the certificate, the cost is between EUR 75 and EUR 125.
