On January 28, 2010, Studio Hamburg MCI invites the industry to “Hamburg Open,” the television and media-sector meeting on the Studio Hamburg premises.
In the site’s largest studio, MCI will present 38 companies and manufacturers across an area of 1,000 square metres, intended to guarantee an exciting day full of product highlights, lectures and workshops. Alongside well-known broadcast-equipment manufacturers, the focus this time is particularly on innovative products and trends that are new to the television and media industry.
Numerous product highlights will be presented, including a touchless on-air graphics system and streaming technologies for the iPhone. Touchless, motion-adaptive control of a live or on-air graphics system on a 103-inch plasma display is regarded as a new option for interactive and virtual studio designs, making it an absolute world premiere.
Visitors will experience hands-on technology in interesting workshops on Final Cut Studio and Ultimatte keying, MCI promises. The event will also be rounded out by exciting lectures on “Files and Formats.” Noteworthy topics include Dolby E, MXF workflows and a comparison of nine HD camera systems.
The doors of Studio A3 will be open to trade visitors from 10:00 to 17:00.
