It is exactly 15 years since TOY STORY, the first fully computer-animated feature film, came to cinemas; a milestone in film history and at the same time the first of what are now ten worldwide film successes for the PIXAR creative studio. Four years later, in 1999, TOY STORY 2 delivered the second magnificent success for the toy heroes around Cowboy Woody and Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear, by then popular worldwide. Now, in 2010, TOY STORY 3 is coming to cinemas! On July 29, the Toy Gang’s biggest adventure to date, with plenty of heart and humour and a whole series of funny new characters, takes over cinemas, this time also in the breathtaking technology of Disney Digital 3D™!

But until then, plenty more TOY STORY highlights are on the programme: in March, TOY STORY and TOY STORY 2 will be shown on Super RTL on television and, from March 11, 2010, will finally be released again on DVD and for the first time on Blu-ray Disc. Experience Cowboy Woody, Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear, Mr Potato Head, Rex the dinosaur and their friends in high definition and refresh your Toy Story knowledge ahead of the cinema release of TOY STORY 3. The brand-new DVD and Blu-ray editions offer exclusive insights into everyday work at Pixar, the production of the TOY STORY series and deleted scenes.

At the same time, the brand-new Nintendo Wii™ and PC game TOY STORY MANIA will be released on March 11, 2010, likewise guaranteeing perfect family entertainment for young and old. TOY STORY MANIA! is a fast-paced party game in which up to four players of all ages can play with or against one another. The popular film characters act as hosts through the large selection of minigames, ensuring plenty of action, fun and variety! The game gains a particularly great appearance through its integrated 3D bonus features.

Anyone who wants to experience TOY STORY and TOY STORY 2 again, or for the first time, on the big cinema screen can do so in May: together with partner Amazon, Disney will screen TOY STORY and TOY STORY 2 exclusively in the breathtaking technology of Disney Digital 3D in 10 cinemas throughout Germany.

A broad range of TOY STORY products will already be available at retail from March, followed by brand-new TOY STORY 3 products for the cinema release in July. The range includes numerous toy products from licensees Mattel, Lego, Hasbro, Ravensburger and Vtech, as well as further products in stationery, fashion, food health and beauty, home and publishing.
