Avid, a manufacturer of solutions for digital content creation, is appointing Arne Petersen as its new Director Central and Eastern Europe. The 40-year-old graduate in business administration worked as Vice President Sales EMEA Enterprise Customers and as Managing Director at Macrovision GmbH, one of the leading manufacturers for licensing and protecting digital media. Before that, he held considerable responsibility as Sales Director and Manager for Central Europe at Searchspace, now Actimize or Fortent. He was also Head of Sales Banking Products Central and Eastern Europe at CSC. Arne Petersen holds a Master’s degree in International Management and an MBA in Marketing.
In recent years, Avid has developed from a group with separately operating business divisions into a uniformly operating company. In 2009, the five individual brands Avid, Digidesign, M-Audio, Pinnacle and Sibelius were successfully brought together.
“Avid sets new standards in the key audio and video segments. I am delighted to now be a part of it,” says Arne Petersen. “Whether high-end film and television production, a live concert or a professionally produced music album - Avid’s product portfolio offers a tailored solution for almost every need. It is therefore suitable both for private individuals who passionately make music or produce videos and semi-professional users who want to support their work audiovisually, as well as for professional productions,” Petersen continues. “The special thing about Avid solutions is that they grow with our customers and can be expanded flexibly. In addition, they make it possible to meet new challenges with proven performance and reliability!”
