Sony is increasing the prize for the first round of the Sony PROduction Awards in cooperation with hackermovies.com in Austria, Switzerland and Germany by adding a new Sony HXR-NX5E AVCHD camcorder. The winner on hackermovies.com will now receive this in addition to the current Vegas software, camera training and participation in the second round of the competition at European level.
“After discussions with hackermovies and in response to initial reactions from the community, we decided to offer a larger prize,” says Verena Rosenkranz, Manager Marketing Communication & PR at Sony Professional Germany. “We are certain this will provide a major additional incentive. We look forward to many high-quality entries and are excited to see the winner.”
