SmokeForMac gets off to an excellent start

On December 15, 2009, a new era began for postproduction: Autodesk high-end technology was opened up to a broader market with Smoke for MAC OS X. The trial version with unrestricted functionality was very well received and has already been downloaded more than 200 times in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Alongside its impressive feature set, Smoke OSX stands out for its excellent integration into existing workflows. To provide special support for young talent, Autodesk is offering universities a free one-year trial, and the prices of the university versions are also very budget-friendly at €270 per licence + €44 for one year of subscription.

Anyone interested in a demonstration or further details about Smoke for Mac can contact the Dreamwalks experts at info@dreamwalks.com or +49 89 48956640.

The SmokeOnMac launch tour currently being conducted by Dreamwalks can likewise report a positive result, with well over 100 visitors at four locations so far.

The remaining stops are Zurich (18.2), Frankfurt (23.2.) and Düsseldorf (2.3.).

The first complete SmokeOnMac packages are going to Chamäleon Digital Vision in Düsseldorf, providing an ideal complement to its Flame and Flint suites, and to Egli Film in Zurich to reinforce its Smoke On Linux.
