Sony Professional welcomes spring with another sales promotion: from now on, Sony Professional is adding a high-quality PortaBrace ENG bag free of charge to every order for a nine-inch LMD-940W field monitor. The offer is available exclusively through German specialist retailers during March.
According to Sony Professional, the bag is the ideal companion for outdoor use with the Sony LMD-940W. As a special model manufactured specifically for Sony by PortaBrace, it is available only as part of this offer. Beneath the black outer shell of durable nylon, embroidered with the Sony and “ChromaTRU” logos, are many useful details including a viewing and sun shield and openings for practical cable routing. The manufacturer’s recommended retail price for the bag is 250.00 euros (net).
With or without the bag, Sony Professional’s LMD-940W LCD monitor is suitable both for rack operation and demanding field use. It is equipped with a 12V DC connection and can also be operated on location using V-Mount batteries. Thanks to 10-bit processing and Sony’s own ChromaTRU technology, the nine-inch widescreen LCD with WVGA resolution (800 × 480 pixels) achieves top values in image quality and colour reproduction. As the first preview monitor in its class, the LMD-940W also has a combined SDI (3G/HD/SD) input/output connection. Together with the composite input/output connection and HDMI input, users are more flexible than ever when choosing connection options.
