Atomix and Atomix LT are ideally suited to presentation, broadcast and high-resolution applications, DVS explains.

With the introduction of Atomix and Atomix LT at NAB 2010, DVS is expanding its renowned video-board product line. From April 12 to 15, DVS will present the two new boards, which meet the requirements of high-end film, HDTV post-production, broadcast applications and sophisticated presentations.

With Atomix, DVS introduces an innovative new video board that enables real-time image processing at any resolution from SD to 4K, the company adds. Atomix also handles stereoscopic 2K material. With versatile and flexible features, the powerful DVS hardware complements any software solution, according to DVS. Atomix enables real-time output of uncompressed 4K with an up- and downscaler for format adaptation and uses a 3D LUT for high-end film, post-production and presentation applications. Further key features include recording and playback over dual-link 3.0 Gbps SDI, real-time 1D LUT, 16 embedded audio channels and 16 AES/EBU channels.

Atomix LT outputs material at resolutions from SD to 2K in real time and outputs 4K at maximum speed. The new PCIe video board offers a comprehensive feature set including two independent channels and 3 Gbps on both SDI inputs and outputs. Atomix LT is particularly well suited to HDTV post-production, broadcast applications and presentations.
