Ki Pro and Avid Systems
Ki Pro includes a comprehensive firmware update to version 2.0. AJA also announced that in future the recorder will connect to Avid systems through Avid Media Access AMA.
CS5 Support
Among other things, the US manufacturer announced comprehensive interface support for the forthcoming CS5 version for its platform-independent product ranges, the AJA KONA video I/O card and the portable Io Express interface.
Cooperation with CineForm
In a team-up with CineForm, AJA developed an interesting solution for playing out stereoscopic image material from conventional editing programs such as Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas or Premiere Pro using the KONA 3 video card.
