LifeSize Communications, a division of Logitech, is introducing LifeSize Video Center – a new system for recording HD video conferences and playing them back regardless of time and location. Until now, companies could make their video-conference content available to a broad audience over the internet only with difficulty and through expensive solutions that were often of inferior quality. With LifeSize Video Center, audio, video and data content can now be recorded and then streamed immediately over the internet or made available for later retrieval – at an attractive price-performance ratio.
LifeSize Video Center uses the LifeSize 220 series HD video-conferencing systems as its basis. The HD content can thus be prepared directly in the recording system for streaming or retrieval. The system architecture is the industry’s first solution capable of making 20 HD recordings simultaneously. It also permits 1,000 live streams and up to 350 on-demand streams simultaneously at 720p30.*
