Following the first instalment, which attracted more than 700,000 cinema-goers and sold more than 150,000 DVDs, the time has finally come since May: after a successful cinema launch, Universum Film and Tobis now present the continuation of Luc Besson’s fantasy saga on DVD and Blu-ray.
Everything could actually be so wonderful: the tenth full moon is approaching, and Arthur is longing finally to return to the realm of the Minimoys to see his friends and the beautiful Princess Selenia again. To do so, he must transform himself into a Minimoy!
In the midst of his anticipation, Arthur receives an urgent cry for help on a grain of rice.
There is no doubt – it must come from the Minimoys! Without hesitation, Arthur sets out on the dangerous journey. He lands headfirst in the world of the Minimoys and must take on the troops of Kröb, the new tyrant of the Seven Kingdoms, to free his friend Prince Beta. But suddenly Princess Selenia has also vanished without a trace! Only one person can be behind it: evil M, who has returned and is pursuing a sinister plan…
Once again, director Luc Besson combines live-action and animated worlds in spectacular fashion and, with all his experience, creates a captivating world full of fun, emotion and adventure! Freddie Highmore and Hollywood legend Mia Farrow are among the actors. The voices of the animated Minimoys are also filled with stars: in the English version, rapper Snoop Dogg, cult singer Lou Reed and many others lend their voices to the little creatures. In the German version, Bill Kaulitz, frontman of TOKIO HOTEL, once again provides the voice of the brave hero Arthur.
The DVD and Blu-ray ARTHUR AND THE MINIMOYS 2 – THE RETURN OF EVIL M
are released with almost two hours of exclusive bonus material.
