Everything digital: from recording to projection! Knowledge of high-definition technology (HD) and 3D stereoscopy is of great importance in the media industry. In cinema, TV and commercial-film production, HD has become established as the production standard. Production-specific know-how provides important advantages in day-to-day work. In equipment-specific classes, workshop participants from the camera and post-production fields learn how to handle HD technology in the workflow. The annual Hands on HD Workshop & Network event in Hanover thus conveys knowledge about current digital production and distribution technologies and connects participants in a knowledge cluster. The event will take place for the eighth time from August 2–7, 2010. Registration is now possible at http://www.handsonhd.de.
The two-day Hands on HD conference integrated into the Workshop & Network event is aimed at media professionals in direction, production, distribution and purchasing. Strategy seminars and experience reports impart expertise in areas including HD & broadcast, HD for editorial teams, and studio productions in HD. The conference will take place from August 5–6, 2010, for the first time in cooperation with the ARD.ZDF medienakademie.
