CameraTracker

According to the manufacturer, the new package analyses footage and extracts the focal length and position of the camera lens used. This allows 2D or 3D composites to be inserted easily in relation to the footage and at the correct scale. The Foundry is thus bringing a function previously available only in the high-end Nuke X compositing package to the widely used Adobe package.

Kronos 5.0

The Foundry’s Furnace algorithms are well known – and The Foundry has built the new version of Kronos, the real-time renderer and motion-blur plug-in, on them.

According to the manufacturer, naturally, The Foundry’s new Blink technology is intended to reduce rendering times dramatically by calculating on both the processor and GPU – provided that the rendering computer has Nvidia’s CUDA architecture.
