“Oops Upside Your Head” – the Gap Band’s 1979 hit – implemented in a different way. Two masks were built for the shoot: one for the close-ups in which the actor walks down the stairs, and one for the movement of “Cubehead”. The actor’s head and skin textures were replicated exactly for this. Each of the shots to be composited had to be recorded in the real posture – including drinking with the head tipped over. The individual shots were then assembled into the finished product using Nuke and Shade.
