The high-speed film cameras in Weisscam’s HS series can shoot footage at up to 4,000 frames per second in HD resolution (720, 1080, 2K).
With improved image quality and new features, the Weisscam HS-2 will in future operate under the name HS-2 MK II. The expanded dynamic range and dark-reference function with noise reduction are intended to ensure clear and consistent rendering of dark image areas at up to 4,000 fps. Both high speed and normal speed are possible for the 720, 1080 and 2K film formats in RAW and HD. For acquisition and playback in uncompressed RAW and HD formats, the camera provides high-resolution workflows. Definable presets ensure flexible and quickly arranged shooting on set. For extreme slow motion in stereo 3D, the sync function supports Stereo3D high-speed recording at up to 4,000 fps in HD quality.
Two parallel dual-link HDSDI outputs with integrated de-Bayering and individually selectable image parameters permit HDSDI monitoring and recording at the same time.
All 35mm lenses and accessories are compatible with the new model.
