Star director Ridley Scott’s monumental epic “Kingdom of Heaven”, starring Orlando Bloom, is being released in a one-off, limited Blu-ray collector’s edition, the FOX Limited Cinedition. It contains a 16-page mediabook with production notes and an elaborately restored, limited individual frame from a 35-mm cinema film reel.

Plot:

A story of courage, passion and adventure: Balian (Orlando Bloom), a simple French blacksmith, loses his wife and his home. He travels to the Holy Land, where he wants not only to find his own peace, but also to continue his father’s (Liam Neesen) life’s work of understanding between religions during the Crusades.

As a stranger in a strange land, alongside Tiberias (Jeremy Irons), a knight loyal to the king, he stands up for justice, finds a new great love in Princess Sybilla (Eva Green) and finally fights a decisive battle for Jerusalem as a knight himself. To save his people and uphold the idea of peaceful coexistence between religions, Balian decides on a daring step…
