When the lively, naive June (Diaz) stumbles into the arms of charming Roy (Cruise), she believes she has found her Mr Perfect. However, the radiant “knight” turns out to be a hard-bitten superspy hunted by the CIA and ruthless killers. Nobody knows exactly whether he belongs to the good guys or the bad guys… least of all June, who suddenly finds herself unwillingly on a breakneck escape across the globe.
An equally breathless and madcap trip in which sparks fly not only amid the hail of bullets, because the mismatched couple is an explosive mix that could blow up at any time!
The seven-minute-longer extended cut promises more action and comedy and was produced by successful director James Mangold (“Walk the Line”). Supporting roles include Peter Sarsgaard, Viola Davis & Paul Dano. The action film was shot in Spain, Austria and the Caribbean.
