According to the company, the project implemented by RTT Japan won not only the “intermedia-globe GOLD award” in the “Computer Animation” section, but also the “intermedia-globe GRAND award” as the highest distinction in the main category. More than 550 competition entries from over 30 countries entered the running this time. Alongside creative and technical skill, the independent expert jury from Europe and overseas placed particular importance on an appealing approach to the target audience.

The “Mazda Shinari” design study is the pure expression of Mazda’s new “KODO – Soul of Motion” design theme. In the pitch, RTT Japan’s production team prevailed against four competitors and created a unique product film within a few weeks. The special feature of this customer project was that planning, conception, production, editing and sound were entirely in the hands of RTT Japan from the outset.

The RTT DeltaGen software suite made a considerable contribution to the successful implementation: skilful use of camera perspectives, lighting/colour grading, sound effects and stylistic devices produced a stylish, high-quality film that ensures a product presentation appropriate to the brand and target audience. It has a balanced relationship between speed and calm that evokes positive emotions in the viewer while nevertheless leaving room for individual interpretations.

The WorldMediaFestival is an international advertising-film festival. For eleven years, the best films in 14 categories have been honoured in Hamburg. Entries from corporate film, TV, web and print production are assessed. The festival has since established itself as a fixture in the industry. Filmmakers from all parts of the world submit more than 500 works each year.
