The beta of Autodesk 123D can be downloaded free of charge from http://www.123Dapp.com and runs on Windows PCs.
The slimmed-down tool set is limited to the functions that designers and modellers really need. All basic standard geometries such as extrude, loft or fillet shell are available.
Comparable to Google’s 3D Warehouse, Autodesk also provides an online platform to which models can be uploaded or from which models can be obtained.
