The Flood and the mystery of Noah’s Ark continue to occupy religion and science to this day.
Church historian Sörensen (Michael Gwisdek) has also devoted himself to the riddle of the Ark’s mysterious cargo. He asks his nephew, art detective Robert (Stephan Luca), for help.
While Robert is to track down a missing colleague of Sörensen in Italy, Sörensen’s Armenian assistant Anahit Sarian (Julia Molkhou) is traveling on a research ship searching the Mediterranean for a sunken vessel: The ‘Eye of God’, a mysterious relic, is said to have been on board.
Anahit does indeed discover the ship and its valuable cargo – but she falls into mortal danger.

It becomes no less dangerous for Robert: Sörensen’s missing colleague was murdered, and shortly afterward Robert is also pursued. In the murdered man’s apartment, Robert had found an ancient manuscript, and he realizes that he has discovered a centuries-old secret. All paths ultimately lead to a monastery in the Caucasus, where not only one of the few paintings by the painter Visus is hidden, but also the ‘Eye of God’, which is said to possess sinister powers.
When Robert and Anahit understand what their powerful opponents’ plan is, they have only a short time left to stop the catastrophe.
