In TUCKER & DALE VS EVIL, the bad guys wear polo shirts and hot pants – the good guys carry chainsaws. DP is giving away 2 DVDs of the charming comedy that deliberately parodies genre expectations.

With the best intentions for a peaceful men’s weekend, Tucker McGee (Alan Tudyk) and Dale Dobson (Tyler Labine) set off for their vacation cabin in the wilderness of West Virginia. When they almost collide with a group of college kids on the highway, the good-hearted hillbillies suspect nothing bad.
But that is exactly what happens when the two groups meet again in the isolation: Dale’s shy simplicity and the students’ prejudices against the hillbillies’ rustic appearance steer events in a fatal direction. The clique interprets Tucker and Dale rescuing pretty Allison (Katrina Bowden) from drowning as an attempted kidnapping.

When the hip young campers begin to defend themselves against the supposed psycho killers, the two friends involuntarily get caught up in a massacre – in which one student after another meets a bizarre end…

TUCKER & DALE VS EVIL is a crazy splatter comedy about love, friendship and occasional accidents in the wood chipper – a refreshing variation on the theme “students camp in the woods and bad things happen.”

The fatal game between the down-to-earth hillbillies and the hysterical college kids shows that things are never what they seem – and that prejudice and lack of communication lead directly into the circular saw. The Canadian production does not skimp on playing with typical genre subjects. Be it the truly last gas station before the wilderness, scary stories around the campfire, chainsaws and run-down cabins in the woods.
