In the USA, the first Warner Bros. film was already available as video on demand via the social network in spring of this year. With KOKOWÄÄH, a film is now appearing as VOD on Facebook for the first time outside America.For VOD exploitation via the social network, Warner Bros. offers an exclusive version of the Schweiger film: Following the main film, Facebook users receive almost 30 minutes of bonus material, including a “Making Of” and “Deleted Scenes.” Payment is made exclusively through the virtual currency “Facebook Credits". For 50 credits, KOKOWÄÄH can be rented for 48 hours and watched directly through the portal as often as desired. The Facebook VOD application developed specifically for Warner Bros. Germany is fully integrated into the payment system and all other Facebook social-network components. Among other things, the user’s friends see that the user has rented the film, can leave comments and can recommend the film to others.
