Pixomondo hopes the renowned new addition will provide interesting new impulses, as Urs Franzen looks back on 18 years of postproduction experience as a visual effects artist, senior compositor and stereoscopic VFX consultant.
Nuke and Flame as well as Python scripting are his particular specialties; the companies ARRI, Das Werk, Trixter and Scanline VFX are among several prominent stops on his résumé. Franzen’s current film productions are "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", "Conan the Barbarian", "Transformers 3" and "The Smurfs". But he has also already worked in the commercial sector for international companies.
