Every professional in the film industry knows the problem: renting camera or lighting equipment consumes enormous sums during film production. And usually the pricing system is not really apparent to customers – what rules does it follow, are prices fixed or do they change depending on the season or rental company?
This app is now intended to make it possible for customers to see through the pricing system and be sure they are no longer making a bad deal. With an algorithm that rental companies also use to determine prices, film companies can now calculate what costs they will incur and select the best offer.
The app is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and is currently still available for 6.99 dollars, but the price is soon intended to rise to 14.99 dollars.
