Mari 1.4 Is Here

According to The Foundry, the texture-painting software Mari 1.4 supports Window 7 and Linux in the 64-bit version. Other features are a new Color Space Toolbar based on the OpenColorIO Library, and PSD file support with import and export functions.

Two new filters, the "Color Correction" and "Add noise" filters, as well as a zoom tool are also said to have been added in this version. The color space is now intended to be changeable in real time in the Image Manager. Various new brushes complement the toolset and are intended to expand Mari’s possibilities.

The Foundry offers a 15-day trial version of Mari 1.4. The new features of Mari 1.4 are presented in this video.
