Through expandded timing features, the transients that are so important for sound are intended to be editable with the Attack Speed tool, even for each note individually. With the new Time Handles, the internal timing of individual notes is also intended to be shapeable, which is intended to enable, for example, even more detailed editing of vocal phrasing.
According to Celemony Software, the new scale functions now also allow Arabic, Indian or contemporary and microtonal music to be edited with Melodyne. Countless scales and tunings are intended to be loadable, editable in detail or creatable from scratch.
In addition, Melodyne editor is now also intended to support Rewire, thus allowing operation with DAWs that have no plug-in interfaces or were previously not compatible with Melodyne. The price for Melodyne editor is 399 euros. An update from version 1 costs 99 euros.
