Intuos5 is said to have up to eight individually configurable ExpressKeys. According to Wacom, the multifunctional Touch Ring has four freely programmable functions for each application, such as scrolling, rotating, zooming, brush size, rotating the workspace or layer selection. The control tablet is thus said to be adaptable to the user’s individual needs. All settings are said to be accessible by touch via Express View.
The multi-touch function is said to support custom short cuts that can be invoked through multi-touch gestures. The Grip Pen belonging to Intuos5 is said to enable precise and artistic work and provide a pen-on-paper feel with four different nibs, as is the new, soft-touch surface of the pen tablet.
The Wacom Intuos5 is available in three different sizes (S,M,L). The medium-sized edition is also available at a lower price with pen input only. Prices for the different Intuos5 tablets range from 225 to 467 euros. Further information can be found here.
