When Adobe Story is started, the update is said to be applied automatically. For a limited period, the screenplay tool is said to be available free of charge, both as a hosted service and as a standalone desktop application.
The current update is said to allow shooting schedules to be compared with each other, enabling scheduling conflicts between the plans to be checked. In addition, the completed scripts are said to be exportable as PDFs, and automatic calculation of the anticipated shooting time is also said to be possible.
The update is said to allow a text, Word or PDF document to be imported and used as the current version. Different scenes are said to be groupable together in one act via drag and drop. There is also now said to be a function for assigning images to actors, roles and sets as a memory aid. According to Adobe, in the report area Story can now generate camera-card reports for all cameras or just one specific camera.
