Maxon, one of the leading manufacturers of 3D software, opened this sixth location in Mediapolis, Singapore’s media center, in collaboration with IM Innovations Pte Ltd. The new office is intended to have the goal of expanding the user base for Cinema 4D and BodyPaint 3D in Asia.
This is intended to ensure better support for local customers and expand the pool of talented artists for 3D animation, motion graphics, and special effects for the film and games industry in Asia.
One of the main projects of the ASEAN Competence Center is intended to be the creation of an object library tailored to Asia, which is expected to allow users to access finished, typically Asian 3D models locally in their work.
