With the integration of the Strawberry project-sharing and management software from Berlin-based company FlavourSys, joint use of NLE projects with Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or other systems is intended to be possible – including in combination.
From now on, the DVS-SAN and SpycerBox storage solutions from DVS have the Strawberry project-sharing and management software from FlavourSys. With its 24/7 availability option, the SpycerBox modular storage solution, which provides performance with reliability thanks to its failover functionality, proves itself. Together with the newly integrated software, users receive greater flexibility in their team- and project-oriented collaboration.
STRAWBERRY was developed from a practice-oriented standpoint to optimize post-production workflows. In Amsterdam, the software received the IBC 2011 Broadcast Engineering Award for innovative products and technologies. The software’s main functions include searching, finding, and exchanging projects and data as well as collaborative editing. Because Strawberry integrates seamlessly into the DVS products, users should not require a long familiarization period.
FlavourSys is an independent Berlin company. Following the test phase, Strawberry, FlavourSys’s main product, is today a system for collaborative editing processes that targets the complexities of integrated workflow processes. www.flavoursys.com
