The new main feature of the emFLock2 v 2.3 ICE plug-in for Softimage is called "Evolution" and is intended overall to raise the flight behavior of particles to an improved level.

The plug-in is compatible with Softimage 2011 SP1 and higher versions as well as Windows 64 bit and Linux 64 bit. Both a trial version and a demo scene are available as downloads.

In this test video, you can experience the plug-in’s new feature in action: the animation in this scene was created with a camera and a simulated point cloud.

The shapes into which the particles move are point clouds that were created from the combination of "Quantize Volume," "Twist Position," and the new "Equal Distribution" – all three functions are included in the new version of emFLock2.
