At the heart of the video mixer are 8 channels equipped with independent frame synchronizers and scalers. There is nothing to complain about regarding the input channels. According to Roland, there are fundamentally four channels that can be supplied with SDI or composite. The remaining four channels are able to receive feeds from DVI-I, HDMI, RGB, and component.
There are also several options for the outgoing signals. The first would be the use of two SDI ports; alternatively, users can choose DVI-D/HDMI. An analog output in the form of RGB component or composite sockets is also installed.
An integrated multiview function ensures that all signals present at the device can be checked easily with a preview function. Preferably through the HDMI output on a television if no expensive monitors are in use.
