Movie Studio Platinum and the expanded version Movie Studio Platinum Suite have now both appeared as release 12. The smallest edition of Movie Studio, which is already available for 40 euros, did not make the version jump.
Anyone looking for an inexpensive editing tool beyond professional use is well served by Sony’s editing program. Movie Studio Platinum is already available for EUR 64.95, and the expanded Platinum Suite, which beyond the normal features also contains Audio Studio 10 and a tutorial DVD, for only 20 euros more.
