Allegorithmic is known for innovative programs for creating textures that are specially tailored to artists coming from video-game development. The now third version of Substance Designer was equipped with additional helpful tools so that texture artists can work even more efficiently. On the one hand, work is taken away through the implementation of batch processing, which overwrites a large number of placeholder textures with proper textures at the touch of a button. Or, on the other hand, the maximum texture size was raised to 4K, and an expanded bitmap-painting system ensures that images can be edited in a manner similar to Photoshop’s clone stamp.
Substance Designer 3 can be purchased on the Allegorithmic homepage for 590 dollars, or you can first enjoy a trial version. An update, on the other hand, costs 300 dollars.
