Bjorn Klaassen is the creator of this collection of helpful scripts. Taken together, this collection forms the trackMaker plug-in. Its purpose is to provide Maya users with helpful support when it comes to modeling 3D racetracks. In detail, according to Klaassen, users are intended to be able to create a complete track and continuously make changes to the layout while taking into account all dynamic relationships between the components, such as loft groups. The track is provided via an integrated exporter.
For EUR 5.50, that is, EUR 5 for the plug-in and 50 cents for PayPal, the little helper can be purchased on Klaassen’s blog. The price includes all subsequent updates, patches, and hotfixes.
