The GarageGames team now offers interested parties the Torque 3D game framework free of charge under an open-source MIT license. The T3D repository was placed on GitHub, where every outsider has read access to the public repository. From there, users are able to create their own branch and work with it. If required, updates from the master level can be integrated into their own branch, or their own changes can be shared with the community. The latter, however, is possible only after a person with write permission has reviewed the change to be adopted.
