Update 9.0.3 is available free of charge to DaVinci Resolve users on the Blackmagic Design website. Alongside timecode synchronisation for audio files and cameras without a timecode function, the update is also said to have improved support for ARRI and Canon C500 RAW files.
Further features include the CinemaDNG Control Palette, which according to Blackmagic Design can now display colour temperatures and hues in relation to camera metadata for more precise control. AAF and XML clip management and several optimisations for the stereoscopic 3D grading interface are also said to have been added.
According to Blackmagic Design, the complete user interface has been revised to make better use of the various new technologies added to the colour correction tool in recent years, such as automatic 3D eye matching and XML support. The new interface is intended to be extremely fast to use and avoid unnecessary clicks and settings.
