A successful Oscar year for Disney – Disney’s "Paperman" is nominated for an Oscar in the "Best Animated Short Film" category this year, as is "Wreck-It Ralph", which is competing for the gold trophy as best animated feature film. For all those who have not seen "Wreck-It Ralph", Disney is now offering a look at the love story of an office employee ahead of the Academy Awards ceremony on 24 February and has published the complete short film on Youtube.
In the visuals designed entirely in shades of grey with a few red colour accents, which give the short film a very classic look, paper plays – as the title already suggests – a decisive role. For director John Kahrs, the film is his directorial debut; previously, he worked as an animator on "Ratatouille" and "Monsters, Inc.", among others.
Enjoy watching "Paperman"; we are keeping our fingers crossed for Disney that it works out with the golden boy.
