To make working with AE, C4D and Photoshop easier and faster, Bill Kastanakis has now released a free version of the practical shortcut tool GFX Hotkeys, namely Gfx Hotkeys Lite 3.0.
It is intended to contain all shortcuts for After Effects CS6, Cinema 4D Release 12 and Release 14, and Photoshop CS6. Artists can search for and select shortcuts and add favourites for those they use most frequently. These can then also be shared via Facebook or Twitter.
According to Kastanakis, the hotkeys are organised by category; the app also has a search engine whose search results are likewise sorted into categories. GFX Hotkeys 3.0 is compatible with the iPhone from version 3GS, the third-generation iPod touch and the iPad.
The full version then adds directories for Maya, Nuke, Mudbox, Modo, PFTrack, Syntheyes and many Other4r programmes. It really belongs in every VFX toolbox as a Swiss Army knife.
