With the Refine Edge tool, hard mask edges are intended to become a thing of the past, and fine details such as frizzy hair or blurred edges can be isolated from complex backgrounds.

Roto Brush:

According to Adobe, the Pixel Motion Blur feature can apply blur effects to moving objects in live-action footage and rendered scenes so that they appear more realistic.

Warp Stabilizer can now be applied selectively to specific objects in a scene, and stabilisations can be reversed.
