Andrew Kramer also wants to design a few towers and skyscrapers for the footage pack. As he writes on Video Copilot, he realises that most artists lack time for unpaid work. He nevertheless hopes that several models will come together so that a great science-fiction world can be created with them.
The Video Copilot team then wants to organise the models and make them available for download on the website. Suggested building ideas include unique high-rises of the future, futuristic apartments, towers and modern police stations. Andrew Kramer chose a shot of the Citadel from "Mass Effect" as a futuristic example image.
Submitted works should be created as medium- or high-resolution models, and the polygon count must not exceed 100K. They must be created with 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Maya or Blender and use JPG or PNG textures.
What are the benefits of such generosity? Artists receive a credit on the download page, become part of a cool project and can be certain of Kramer’s eternal gratitude. Anyone who finds that sufficient motivation can take part! All further information is available here.
