The new features of Deadline 6.0 include:
- The new database backend comes with a scalable MongoDB database. Deadline 6.0 therefore works with more than a thousand job and slave configurations, including over remote connections.

The user interface has received a new coat of paint, including delayed data loading, live data refreshing, a modifiable layout and a new modifiable filtering system. Thinbkox emphasises that Deadline 6.0 updates data in a background thread, eliminating manual refreshing.

Graphic Data Representation: Large graphs make it possible to visualise the different views of the farm. Artists, producers and administrators can monitor the progress of projects and the condition of the farm.
