One update is intended to be a revised user interface that should look more familiar to Premiere Pro users, including a new media browser and a manager with a new look.
The tools are intended to be better connected in the cloud version so grading can be performed more quickly. According to Adobe, SpeedGrade has been integrated better into the complete Adobe workflow overall. Complex SpeedGrade looks are now intended to be loadable in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Further newly added features include a Continuity Checker and Snapshot Browser as well as control-surface support for the Tangent Element series. One of the biggest improvements SpeedGrade CC has received is the Shot Matcher, which allows faster work by automatically correcting and matching differences in footage and creating a consistent feel between clips and therefore across the entire project. Film Stock Emulations can give footage a classic film look with a cinematic appearance.
