English Lovefilm members can now enjoy the most popular films with the new streaming service. Alongside "Wall-E", "Ratatouille" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian", classics such as "Lady and the Tramp", "Dumbo", "The Sword in the Stone" and "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" (released in 1971 with the flowery German title "Die tollkühne Hexe in ihrem fliegenden Bett") are also on offer.
Disney is thus making its small film selection available through this channel on all kinds of platforms, because the new Lovefilm offering works on pretty much any device as long as there is an internet connection, from the iPad to the Kindle Fire.
"We want to provide families with the best possible selection of Disney films, no matter when, where or how they want to watch them," explains Catherine Powell, SVP & GM of Disney Media Distribution EMEA.
So anyone who, regardless of the situation, feels the urge to watch a Disney film RIGHT NOW can now do so. At least Disney fans on the island can. When and whether the service will also be offered in Germany is uncertain.
