The first trailer for Til Schweiger’s "Keinohrhase & Zweiohrküken" has been released. The work is based on Til’s children’s book of the same name, which he wrote with "Laura’s Star" author Klaus Baumgart.
The term "nepotism" is appearing ever more often in connection with Til Schweiger, as he prefers to cast family and girlfriend in his films; here too, daughter Emma voices the chick. Not a first-degree relative, but at most related by name, Matthias Schweighöfer has also taken on a voice role. He once preferred to invest his time in films such as "Kammerflimmern" or "Soloalbum", but times change.
Since the German animation industry likes to nominate projects that have received a lot of funding, the rabbit-chick film is presumably already nominated for the German animation screenplay prize. At first glance, this nomnination is somewhat surprising given the synopsis: “One day, the Keinohrhase finds an egg outside his front door. At first, however, he has no idea that this will be the beginning of an extraordinary friendship. With the Zweiohrküken, he experiences many exciting adventures until a shared dream is fulfilled.”
At the end of September, everyone without a cuddling or Schweiger allergy can judge the work’s potential for themselves in German cinemas, naturally also in 3D.
