RayFire Studios has released the 3ds Max plug-in RayFire in version 1.62. The first major release, the Voxels Modifier, can voxelize geometry and also offers a variety of ways to control and animate it.

The second new feature, the Clusters Modifier, is intended to combine simple fragment groups into more complex, clustered fragments.

RayFire Studios has published two tutorials on the two new features here.

The new release is free for RayFire users of versions 1.59, 1.60 and 1.61. All they have to do is send an email to RayFire Studios, and the upgrade will be added to the customer account. More information is available here: http://rayfirestudios.com/buy/upgrade
