From September this year, the Sony F55 will then be able to record not only at 120 fps but also at 180 fps and 240 fps. However, the additional AXS-R5 module is generally required for RAW recordings. In upgrade version 1.2 at the end of July, the Sony F5 already received additional HD-SR file formats that can be stored internally on SxS cards in 4:2:2 and 4:4:4. A 1.3x anamorphic recording is also intended to be supported.

In addition, according to Sony, with upgrade 1.2 both cameras, the F5 and F55, received an ND filter control as well as new cables connecting the DVF-EL 100 OLED VF digital viewfinder to the camera body.

You can find all further upgrades for the Sony F5 and F55 in this firmware timeline overview published by Sony.
